TalentLabs will issue an enrollment letter, and guide you through the funding process, be it PERKESO or HRD Corp. The process from application to acceptance will take around 3 working days.
Activate your funding
You will be required to complete the steps to activate your funding, ensuring that you obtain the appropriate approvals from PERKESO or HRD Corp. Please understand this activation process may take up to 15 working days.
You're confirmed!
Once fully approved, you will be required the relevant acknowledgement letters and our team will verify to ensure all details are correct. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation email from us. The process for confirmation and verification will take around 3 working days.

What is the AWS Foundation Training?
It is a certification programme that TalentLabs is rolling out, with joint funding opportunities from PERKESO and HRD Corp, providing equitable access to AWS foundational certifications in AI and cloud computing.
What is PERKESO?
PERKESO (Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial Malaysia) is a Malaysian government agency, responsible for providing social security protection to workers in both the formal and informal sectors, through various social security schemes. PERKESO's goal is to protect workers from risks of occupational accidents, work-related diseases, job loss, and disabilities that may affect their income.
What is HRD Corp?
HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation) is a Malaysian government organisation under the Ministry of Human Resources, established to enhance human capital development across the country. HRD Corp plays a major role in promoting & supporting training & employee development, particularly in the private sector.
How much does this programme cost?
Depending on your chosen funding route, this programme is essentially free - you may seek funding from PERKESO (for unemployed individuals) or HRD Corp (for employed individuals). Alternatively, you may self-fund as well!
Am I eligible to take part in this programme?
For unemployed individuals, through PERKESO, you will be eligible for funding if you meet the criteria below:

Will I receive a certificate after completing the programme?
Upon completing your attendance, you will receive a certificate of training completion. You will also be given an examination voucher (to be completed externally); thus you are expected to pass your examination to receive an official certificate from the awarding body (AWS).
What are the next steps after I have successfully completed the online application on TalentLabs?
For funding via PERKESO, we will support your application journey in PERKESO's EIS Portal. You will be required to apply and obtain a guarantee letter from PERKESO, and submit this document to TalentLabs for confirmation and verification.
For funding via HRDCorp, we will support your approval request with your respective employer. You will be required to submit a grant application pack from us to your HR representative, and upon completion, to forward a grant approval letter to TalentLabs for confirmation & verification.
At every step, our TalentLabs staff will be present to guide you through, to make the journey as seamless as possible.

How long can I expect the process to take?
Successful applicants will hear back from TalentLabs within 3 working days; funding approvals may be expected within 15 working days; confirmation & verification from TalentLabs takes approximately 3 working days.
Will I be notified if my online application is unsuccessful?
While we strive to inform all applicants individually, the volume of submissions may make this challenging. However, we value every application, and your interest is appreciated.
