Scrolling job boards on autopilot and firing off generic applications just to hit a “daily quota.” Quality > quantity.

▶️ START
Blocking a focused 30‑minute slot each morning to (1) research one high‑fit role, (2) tailor my CV to its pain points, and (3) recap one key takeaway from my current upskilling module.

CONTINUE
Tracking every application, follow‑up, and micro‑lesson in my learning journal. Seeing progress in black and white keeps motivation high.

STOP Procrastinate. Been procrastinating since it is easier to do it instead of the hard modules.

▶️ START: One new strategy/habit I want to try

START the modules and do it for 5 minutes and increase the volume to 10, 15 and eventually 30 whole minutes.

Overthinking, sometimes it's easier to JUST DO IT without worrying much (it's a life long lesson for me lol)

Stick to my to-do list, so I can stop coming up with something I wanna try but never got time to do so

Keep going but take a break from time to time, new things will always come up so don't dwell on idealism/perfectionism

Focus on completing the module to be confident regarding the knowledge when asked during interviews. Target to complete the remaining module within a week.

The 45/15-minute rule. Work for 45 minutes, then take a 15-minute break. Repeat.

Starting the assignments first before watching the videos. This actually motivates me to watch the videos as it makes me look for specific information in the course content instead of watching the video passively.

Procrastinating, worried about not being enough and feeling overwhelmed (girl you haven't tried it yet)

▶️ START: One new strategy/habit I want to try

Do things step by step from small top to bottom at your own pace. Blast some music or games in the background to keep you motivated and focused (girl has short attention span)

✅ CONTINUE: One thing that's working well that I'll keep doing

Don't say I want to do it today, but do it without planning or saying anything like "I'll do it today, I'll do it tomorrow". It keeps me being productive and motivated. Blast some music while doing the module, if works for me so well.

Some reflections I have

🛑 STOP: One thing I need to stop doing that's hindering my learning is not knowing how to balance work and rest, I have this bad habit of planning things and going all out in realising my plans without allowing some room for flexibility, in turn, I always end up feeling so tired when I'm already at the finishing line and find it challenging to finish the race. 

▶️ START: One new strategy/habit I want to try is practicing that work and life/rest balance, manage my time better, my sleep and rest better, my eating better. My RM60 exercise machine just came in the mail today so I'm stocked to try that out and make progress!

✅ CONTINUE: One thing that's working well that I'll keep doing is believing in myself that I could do it no matter how hard the thing is and not give up. Honestly I found software engineering to be very hard for me, next to mathematics lol (yes im that person) but I managed to finish the software engineering module despite my lab assignments getting returned a few times! I'm proud of my progress!

🌟CONTINUE: It is always okay for me to move forward with learning and circle back to things I’m unsure of after to reduce my stress levels. It is okay if I am slower than others because this is my first time doing UX/UI related work.

Procrastination! I tend to lose focus quickly, even when I’m trying to concentrate.
