Procrastinationnn. I have been procrastinating too much lately as it's affecting my productivity.

The 5-minute rule. Start a task for 5 minute and focus on it till it's done (or at least has some progression).

Do things step by step from small top to bottom at your own pace. Blast some music or games in the background to keep you motivated and focused (girl has short attention span)
β CONTINUE: One thing that's working well that I'll keep doing
Don't say I want to do it today, but do it without planning or saying anything like "I'll do it today, I'll do it tomorrow". It keeps me being productive and motivated. Blast some music while doing the module, if works for me so well.

Some reflections I have
π STOP: One thing I need to stop doing that's hindering my learning is not knowing how to balance work and rest, I have this bad habit of planning things and going all out in realising my plans without allowing some room for flexibility, in turn, I always end up feeling so tired when I'm already at the finishing line and find it challenging to finish the race.
βΆοΈ START: One new strategy/habit I want to try is practicing that work and life/rest balance, manage my time better, my sleep and rest better, my eating better. My RM60 exercise machine just came in the mail today so I'm stocked to try that out and make progress!
β CONTINUE: One thing that's working well that I'll keep doing is believing in myself that I could do it no matter how hard the thing is and not give up. Honestly I found software engineering to be very hard for me, next to mathematics lol (yes im that person) but I managed to finish the software engineering module despite my lab assignments getting returned a few times! I'm proud of my progress!

πCONTINUE: It is always okay for me to move forward with learning and circle back to things Iβm unsure of after to reduce my stress levels. It is okay if I am slower than others because this is my first time doing UX/UI related work.
If the remaining modules were a group of people, they will be side-eyeing me by now
π STOP: Worrying about my OJT application and forgetting the fact that I still haven't completed my TalentLabs course (oops)

Being scared that I'm not good enough so i avoid trying to do things because i don't want to make a mistake but actually mistakes are what help us learn

Have more discussions with people/classmates to broaden my knowledge and understanding

2 pass method: First pass, focus in watching videos and try to understand. Second pass, rewatch video to write down notes.
