• Gather and model business requirements by applying the right analysis techniques, ensuring a detailed and clear understanding for stakeholders. Structure the requirements to reflect all key business aspects—such as customer experience, processes, rules, information, and operations—to capture the true business needs accurately.

• Verify that all requirements and designs directly align with business objectives, ensuring they deliver tangible business value and contribute towards achieving project goals and benefits.

• Assess and define solution options by identifying, exploring, and clearly describing them to help stakeholders make informed decisions that best meet business needs.

• Analyse the potential value of different solutions by understanding the business opportunity and goals, and where appropriate, recommend the best-fit solution to key stakeholders.

• Customer focus; determine all requirements, solution designs and business value assessments from a customer perspective

• Manage business requirements; throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring they are appropriately baselined and owned; maintain alignment between the solution and the benefits and assess all impacts of requirement or design changes

• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all documentation and deliverables, using approved templates, models, and frameworks tailored to the intended audience.

• Transition and change; assist in the identification of the transition journey from current to target state, conducting change impact assessments supporting the change management activities/focus areas to enable successful adoption of the solutions.

• Collaborative working; able to engage and work effectively with multi-cultural, multi-location teams, and work cross functionally with teams from other business areas ensuring their interests are understood and properly represented and any issues addressed; challenge and influence appropriately

• Stakeholder management; maintain timely communications to project team and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle ensuring an unambiguous and common understanding of the requirements; proactively raise risks and issues, and ensure progress of deliverables is transparent

• Leverage knowledge of the operating model and system architectures to maximise business value, collaborating closely with Lead Designers or domain specialists when applicable.

• Project delivery support; assist in the preparation of project scope, goals and deliverables templates and support PMO in developing business cases with supporting documentation.

• Support the wider analyst and practitioner communities; proactively share experiences, lessons learnt and best practice

Job Requirements:

• University degree in any discipline

• 5-10 years of solid business analyst experience, preferably with deep knowledge of Insurance Operations

• Experience in project management or change management is an added advantage

• Understanding of local business, key processes, and risks, with both a big picture view and on-the-ground knowledge
