About the Role
At HelixByte, we’re building software that transforms how organizations manage maintenance and field operations. Our products include:
Cerev CMMS: A smart, cloud-based maintenance management system
Cerev Service: A field service platform for job coordination and technician tracking
As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll contribute directly to the development of these products. You’ll work with a modern TypeScript stack, learn from experienced developers, and use cutting-edge AI tools like Cursor and Claude Sonnet 4.0 to accelerate your coding, debugging, and problem-solving.

What You’ll Gain
Hands-on experience with a modern full-stack TypeScript environment, including React, React Native, tRPC, and Prisma ORM
Real exposure to end-to-end product development — from feature ideation and technical design to implementation and iteration
The ability to use AI tools like Cursor and Claude Sonnet 4.0 to improve code quality, automate documentation, assist with refactoring, and accelerate learning
Mentorship from senior developers in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering team
Experience deploying real features to customers in industries such as F&B manufacturing, automotive, HVAC, and global facilities management
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to feature development on web and mobile (React / React Native)
Build and maintain APIs using tRPC and manage data models with Prisma ORM
Use Cursor, Claude Sonnet 4.0, or other AI copilots to assist with debugging, documentation, testing, and optimization
Improve system quality by identifying patterns, contributing to code reviews, and adhering to clean code principles
Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement technical designs that meet user needs
Continuously explore new tools, frameworks, or libraries that enhance engineering productivity and codebase quality

Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
Writing or contributing to small projects, open-source code, or hackathon entries
