As a Site Reliability Engineer (Infrastructure), you will:-

• Increase Fave reliability across multiple availability zones and regions.

• Build, deploy, and continuously improve the infrastructure used by all of Fave across a wide variety of technologies.

• Automate processes and increase observability.

• Write custom Kubernetes controllers to improve resilience, annotate resources, and align with service standards.

• Use Argo CD to deploy applications with GitOps.

• Implement strategies to handle bursts in workloads and tolerate fault.

• Embed or work closely with other engineering teams to accelerate their service adoption.

Requirements:-

• Experience in software development, operations and actively practising site reliability principles.

• Experience in practising infrastructure as code - proficiency with Terraform would be an advantage.

• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.

• Strong fundamentals of software development.

• Ability to debug and optimise code and automate routine tasks.

• Experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Ruby, Python, or Go

• Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
