We’re Cleve — a tech startup building an AI-powered content assistant that helps content creators, business owners, and thought leaders create personalised content online, across multiple platforms. Currently used by 20,000+ users and backed by Cradle & global VC Antler ($110k pre-seed).

What you’ll be doing:

• Experience being part of a founding team in a startup, building product from scratch & working closely with the CTO and other team members.

• Designing and improving the mobile experience of our product on Android (and iOS if applicable).

• Building and shipping our core AI features (LLM, RAG, AI Agents) into mobile.

• Working on app performance, offline support, and ensuring seamless integration with our backend.

• Assisting with other product-related tasks and projects as needed.

Please note that your responsibilities as a Mobile Engineer Intern may evolve over time to meet Cleve’s needs as an early-stage startup.

Skills required for this role:

• Experience in mobile development (React Native / Expo) especially Android.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

• Experience with Firebase/Supabase/PostgreSQL or other cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with Git for version control.

Nice to have’s:

• Hands-on Android experience (bonus if you own an Android device for testing).

• Familiarity with Vercel/Supabase and serverless architecture.

• Experience in building apps from scratch and deploying to the Google Play Store.

• Familiarity with Next.js or integrating mobile apps with web backends.

• Knowledge of LLM /RAG
